Uninetown Musical

Urinetown: The Musical was an amazing performance that I saw last Saturday. It was about a buisness man named Cadwell Cadwell who put tax on peeing because there was a shortage of water in many places. If they were caught peeing in the bushes or in any places similar to that, they were put to this place called Urinetown. Then Bobby Strong and many other people protested so they can have freedom to pee. Everyone started peeing all over places with out paying any money and then people got sent to Urinetown such as Booby Strong's dad. Everyone realized that people who were sent to Urinetown were actually killed. They all got very angry and put Cadwell Cadwell's daughter as hostage until they had the freedom to pee. In the end of the musical, Bobby Strong and Cadwell was sent to Urinetown and everyone had the freedom to pee. They also set up a Bobby Strong foundation to honer him. This is the first time I am seeing a musical at Ardsley High School. It was amazing and really funny. I enjoyed it very much and look foward for the next musical's they have.

The Last Shot: A Final Four Mystery by John Feinstien

As I am finishing up The Last Shot: A final four mystery by John Feinstein, the main character of the book, Steven Thomas and Susan Carol win a national sportswriter contest. Their prize for winning the competition is that they can cover as press for the Final Four basketball tournament. They were very happy of this because they can work for the press, go to closed practices, and also go to the locker room interviews. Steve and Susan were wandering around the super dome until they were lost. Then, they find there way when they see the media taking pictures when the Michigan State Basketball enters to the back entrance. Then they became really upset and mad when they hear a man threatening Chip Graber who is the Star of the Michigan State Basketball team. The mysterious man is blackmailing Chip to throw off the champion game. Most of this book is an adventure about how they are trying to show every one who the real blackmailers are. Overall, I liked this book a lot even though it got confusing at some parts. I think that this book is one of the better books I have read this quarter. I like Mystery and I might read the sequel to this book. The sequel is called Vanishing Act and is with the same characters who are tying to solve a kidnapping at the U.S Open Tournament. I recommend this book to all!

In the beginning of the book, Shasta hears the fisherman trying to sell him to this noble. He hears that he actually is not the fisherman's son and neither of them liked each other. Outside of the house, Shasta goes to the stable to sees the horse of the noble. Then, Shasta becomes very frightened when he saw that the horse could talk. The horse's name is Bee and he came from Narnia. He also did not like his master either so they both decided to run away to Narnia where everything was good. On their way, they meet this girl named Aravis who also had a talking horse named Hwin running away. She also running away to Narnia because she was forced to marry someone so they all started going their way to Narnia. Later in the book, Aravis is found by her noblewomen. They both go to the palace and then hears the ruler of Calormen talking about attacking Archenland and Narnia. Then, they all go to King Luke of Archenland to warn the king about this and they prepare their army and defend until the Narian army comes. In the end, they won the battle and King Luke realizes that Shasta's real name is Cor and that he has a twin brother who is the prince of Archenland. Shasta soon marries Aravis and they have a child named Ram the Great who becomes the greatest king of Archenland. Overall, this book was very good although it got confusing at some parts.
