Jaws by Peter Benchley

Jaws by Peter Benchley is about a police chief named Martin Brody who works at the beach. He is shocked when he hears that there is a shark attack during summer which would lose their town's tourist attraction. The main scene of the book is when Martin, an oceanographer named Matt Hooper, and a vessel owner named Quint go to the middle of the ocean to kill the great while shark. Matt dies after the shark rams the cage, Quint drowns while trying to escape the shark, and the shark is eating through Quint's body while Martin manages to escape. This book is one of my favorite books I have read this quarter. It is very interesting and pretty easy to understand. This book is also similar to the movie too. I like this book very much and I recommend everyone to read this.
